ReviewLoop

Terms of Service

Draft — not yet published or legally reviewed

This is a working draft, not legal advice. It's written to accurately describe what ReviewLoop actually does today, but it has not been reviewed by a solicitor. Have it checked before relying on it commercially — particularly around consumer protection law, your obligations as a data controller, and Amazon's own Acceptable Use Policy and Developer Agreement for the Selling Partner API.

1. What ReviewLoop is

ReviewLoop is a service for Amazon sellers that automatically requests product reviews and seller feedback from customers, using Amazon's Selling Partner API ("SP-API") Solicitations feature. It runs once per day, checks your recent orders for eligibility, and sends the request Amazon itself allows — nothing more.

2. Your account and eligibility

To use ReviewLoop you must be an authorised user of an Amazon Selling Partner account with your own SP-API application, and be legally able to enter into this agreement. You're responsible for the accuracy of the settings and credentials you provide, and for keeping your login details confidential.

3. Your Amazon credentials

You'll provide Amazon SP-API credentials (an LWA Client ID, Client Secret, and refresh token) so we can act on your behalf. These are encrypted (AES-256) the moment they're saved, using a key that is never stored alongside the data itself. We use them only to fetch your order data and send solicitations through Amazon's API — never for any other purpose, and never shared with anyone except Amazon's own API.

4. Fees and billing

ReviewLoop is billed per successfully sent review request, processed by Stripe. You are only charged for requests that actually send — if a run fails (for example, because your Amazon credentials have expired), nothing is billed for that run, and we'll pause your account and email you until it's fixed. You can cancel at any time; cancelling stops both the service and any further billing.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use ReviewLoop only in a way that complies with Amazon's Seller Central policies, including its rules on requesting reviews and feedback. You won't use the service to contact buyers outside of what Amazon's Solicitations API itself permits, attempt to circumvent Amazon's eligibility checks, or use the service on behalf of an Amazon account you're not authorised to manage.

6. Service availability

We aim to run your daily job reliably, but we don't guarantee that any particular order will be eligible for a review request — that determination is made by Amazon, not by us. The service is provided "as is"; to the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any action Amazon takes against your seller account, or for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.

7. Ending your account

You can stop using ReviewLoop at any time by cancelling your subscription and disconnecting your Amazon credentials. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms or Amazon's policies. On request, we'll delete your stored data (including encrypted credentials) within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep billing records for legal or accounting reasons.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. If we make a material change, we'll email the address on your account before it takes effect.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales (placeholder — confirm this reflects where the business is actually registered before publishing).
